I've been after solar for over a year, with a failed install under my belt. Various companies quoted and weren't always upfront about what you can actually get on your roof. I wouldn't say I'm an expert user by any means, but had done enough research to know what I wanted. The other thing to bear in mind is that some companies try and force you to install a brand you may not want. And aren't always able to answer technical questions as they may just be resellers. This is where Jack and Darren were set apart from the rest of the companies I've dealt with. I found them via a recommendation on the Givenergy Facebook group. A local resident had work done by SolFuel and spoke glowingly of their workmanship and customer care. Jack and Darren turned up on the very day I called them. Immediately I was put at ease. Jack walked me through all my options and was honest about what I could achieve. I was also after the givenergy system which not everyone installs, but they have in abundance. All of my technical questions were answered with follow up. Between meeting the guys and having my install completed with all the relevant paperwork, I waited approximately 4 weeks! Which after waiting so long, I didn't want to miss what little summer sun we get. The install itself was expertly finished, very neat and tidy and looks and most importantly works flawlessly. Every system has teething issues, I've yet to have any but I can be rest assured help, if needed would be just a phone call away. The biggest compliment I can give these guys, is that you won't have trust issues. So honest and hardworking. They aren't the cheapest and so they shouldn't be, as its the quality of work and customer care that really matters with something like this. I wholeheartedly recommend solfuel and will be going back to them in the future for any upgrades I may want. Thank you for making this a painless experience.

Came and installed a EV wall charger at my home. The installation was quick & the engineers explained everything to me clearly, including how to use the charger. They also cleared up thoroughly on completing the job. Very good, thanks.

Sol Fuel installed solar panels, a battery and car charger for me in January 2023. I chose them because they were helpful, knowledgeable, quick to follow up on my enquiry, and provided a very reasonable quote. The work was carried out to an excellent standard and everyone I had contact with was polite and helpful. The only reason I would give four rather than five stars is that the installation took longer than originally quoted (scaffolding was up for about six weeks rather than two - I wouldn't have minded the timescale if I'd been told that in advance), and there were times when either I was waiting in for people to come and they didn't, or they did come on days I didn't expect. It also took several months to get the documentation after the process was complete. But really those are small niggles and it was a generally very positive experience.

After suffering at the hands of those solar companies what a welcome breath of fresh air SolFuel were! No teaching me to suck eggs just good knowledge, honest advise and simply the best install I have seen! Oh yes and follow-up like no other, they really CARE for their customers an art that is lost with some bigger firms! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED - REALLY!

Amazing service. We had an existing system installed before we moved in. We had a warranty issue that Jack and Darren resolved with Solar Edge saving us around 2k. Prompt service with great communication throughout. Couldn’t recommend them highly enough.

We’ve just had Solar PV & Battery System installed by these guys and we cannot praise them enough for the design and work carried out. We were very concerned about neatness and intrusive cable runs around our property after the system was installed, but once they had finished, it was exactly how we would of wanted it. It was perfect!! The customer service was excellent from start to finish. All questions were answered and explained thoroughly so that we understood how the system would work. They gave us a design that would meet the needs of our energy consumption, but they also gave us other alternatives which made it even more interesting. They were with us for about 3 1/2 hours for the on-site survey and discussion and didn’t show any eagerness to leave which made us feel very comfortable. Also they came to the property straight away instead of doing a remote design and sending in a email which most of the other companies did who we asked to quote. The equipment used was very aesthetically pleasing and fitted to a very high standard. Also they left everywhere clean and tidy. Once the equipment was commissioned and up and running they spent time with us to download the apps and setting up to coincide with our two rate tariff with our energy provider You wouldn’t be disappointed using Sol Fuel, we shall definitely be inviting them back if we decide to add to the system in the future. My experience with said company was extremely pleasant; my advisor Alex was very professional and made me feel very comfortable from start to finish. The installation process ran very smoothly and the team worked very efficiently and completed it within the time frames specified as promised.
